Ethical Principles

ALTINSU TEXTILE aims to develop its human resources in line with its goals. However, in this development process, not only the results obtained are important but also how these results are achieved. Therefore, practices that do not comply with ethical principles have no value at ALTINSU TEXTILE.

We operate with the awareness that the value of ALTINSU TEXTILE in the present and future is not only achieved through managerial measures but is a goal that can be realized with the participation of all employees. Below are the ethical rules that accompany us on this path to achieve this goal.

1. Using Company Resources Appropriately

Company resources cannot be used for personal needs. Agreements made with customers, suppliers, consultants, and individuals and organizations acting on behalf of our company cannot be utilized for personal gain, either directly or indirectly.

2. Risk Management

Avoid situations that could cause risk; it is essential to perform duties as effectively and efficiently as possible, keeping risk factors at the lowest level in all areas.

3. Avoiding Misuse of Authority

If aware of any acts such as theft, forgery, pickpocketing, or drug use, whether directly or indirectly, upper management must be informed. Personal interest relationships with suppliers and/or customers (such as borrowing or lending, obtaining cash or in-kind benefits, etc.) must be avoided.

4. Job Transfer

In cases of resignation, retirement, workplace change, etc., related tasks must be transferred to new personnel or managers with their documents, and detailed information should be provided.

5. Equal Opportunity and Responsibilities

The principle of equal opportunity applies at ALTINSU TEXTILE. Everyone has the same rights. No discrimination is made among employees. Promotions and job changes are carried out within the framework of performance evaluations, skill development, and demonstrable achievements.

6. Recruitment

ALTINSU TEXTILE selects from among candidates suitable for the specific position.

7. Career Development

ALTINSU TEXTILE employees have equal opportunity for personal career development. Everyone has the opportunity to gain experience through training programs, increase knowledge, and improve themselves.

8. Working Hours and Permissions

At ALTINSU TEXTILE, adherence to working hours is emphasized. Work areas cannot be left for extended periods without permission. In case of trainings or inability to attend work, permission must be obtained. In case of sudden illness, accident, etc., management must be informed as soon as possible.

9. Dress Code

Blue-collar employees at ALTINSU TEXTILE must wear the uniforms provided to them. All company employees must pay attention to personal cleanliness and hygiene.

10. Personal Information

Personal information is kept confidential and is not disclosed to anyone other than authorized persons. Disciplinary action may be taken if the confidentiality of personal matters listed below is violated;

  • If one attempts to view others' wages, bonuses, etc., by looking at screens or payrolls.
  • If personal information of other employees, such as performance or health issues, is shared with third parties due to job responsibilities.

11. Creating a Healthy and Safe Working Environment

Considering the negative impacts of smoking in the workplace, smoking is prohibited outside designated areas.

12. Disputes Among Employees

Physical or verbal violence that would disrupt the workplace environment is not allowed. Profane language or loud tones that disturb the environment are not allowed. ALTINSU TEXTILE employees must report situations that would harm motivation or disrupt the working environment to the upper management within 24 hours.

13. Physical, Sexual, Emotional Harassment

Harassment based on any grounds, such as age, language, race, health status, gender, marital status, etc., is against workplace rules. Such behaviors are punished up to termination of employment.

14. Use of Company Equipment, Stationery, and Printed Materials

Company computers, photocopiers, etc., cannot be used for private purposes outside of duty and/or during working hours. Economical use of stationery and printed materials within the company is required.

15. Use of Vehicles

The manager responsible for the vehicle assigned by the company must use it with care. ALTINSU TEXTILE will not request payment for damages caused by negligence or error. Traffic fines incurred due to traffic violations are covered by the person to whom the vehicle is assigned. Managers can allow their employees to use the vehicle assigned to them in emergencies related to work, provided it is used solely for the intended purpose and within the above criteria. General-purpose vehicles are used under the criteria mentioned above and are left at the workplace at night.

16. Use of Shuttle Vehicles

Shuttle vehicles have been placed on specific routes to facilitate employees' commute to and from work. Those using the shuttle cannot delay it for personal reasons, request changes to the route without the approval of other colleagues, or request route changes from the relevant department without the consent of other colleagues.

17. Concept of Workplace

Posters, handwritten notes cannot be hung in places other than those designated by ALTINSU TEXTILE Management. Political campaigns cannot be conducted, and funds cannot be raised for these campaigns. Illegal or company policy-violating publications cannot be distributed or aided in distribution. Alcohol, drugs, and weapons cannot be kept. Workspaces must not be left cluttered or dirty. Gambling is not allowed, and games cannot be played, distributed, or sold.

18. Time Management

Time spent within ALTINSU TEXTILE is the company's resource. All employees must use their time well and in a planned manner based on this understanding. Working hours cannot be used for private matters. Managers cannot assign employees for personal tasks. Employees without private office allocation must meet visitors in the sitting areas in front of the reception area at the entrance. Visits by those whose employment contract was terminated due to dishonorable reasons are prohibited.

19. Acceptance of Gifts

ALTINSU TEXTILE employees do not accept gifts valued over 100 TL.

20. Information Security

At ALTINSU TEXTILE, professional secrets learned due to title and duty are not disclosed to others except for legally authorized authorities. Company information cannot be copied onto memory cards, disks, or CDs outside of work-related purposes.
